Set up custom automations with Zapier ⚡️
Our new Zapier integration can be used to set up custom workflows on Height — for example:
- Zaps to post a message in the Slack channel #shipped whenever a Height task is completed.
- Zaps to mark a task as "Priority = High" if the task name has the word "Urgent".
- Zaps to send a message on a Height task when the task is mentioned in another service (i.e. Airtable).

Improvements & bug fixes
- You can now set your custom statuses as one of five different states: "Not started", "Started", "Blocked", "Cancelled", and "Completed".
- Added documentation for status states.
- Fixed a bug where users could see blank pages sometimes when loading the app.
- Fixed an issue where tasks created via Slack weren't respecting users' default list preference.
- Added a banner to let folks know why they were seeing the "Offline" banner and how to mitigate it.
- Fixed a bug that caused the "Deleted" column to always show in Tasks assigned to me when switching back to Spreadsheet view.
- Added support to let users choose where within a list of attribute options to add a new one.
- Added support for reordering multi-option attribute type options.
- Lists you've just created now get added to the top of your Favorites section in sidebar.
- Fixed a bug where "Cannot reproduce" status tasks were showing, even when "Show completed tasks" was set to "Never".
- Fixed a bug where using the dropdown to set attribute values with
enter
and then tab
didn't set the value correctly. - Our Github integration now ignores linking PRs merged from the default branch.
- Fixed an issue that caused drafts to be created and saved when using
/
commands in chat. - Added Calendar view to the in-app onboarding flow.
- Added support for editing chat messages from mobile web.
